Veronika Webb is entering her first season as Head Coach after joining Vernon College last season as an assistant coach. 

Prior to joining the coaching staff Webb spent 5 seasons as a college player at NCJAA, NCAA Division II, and NAIA levels.  Most recently playing for Texas Wesleyan University whereas a co-captain led her team to the National Tournament in her final three years and through the opening round twice. 

In her first season as an assistant coach at Vernon, Coach Webb made an immediate impact, helping double the overall and conference win totals from the previous year (5-20, 2-11 to 12-18, 5-9). Additionally, team kills per set increased from 9.29 to 11.35, while team hitting percentage rose from .126 to 2.02. Defensively, blocks per set increased from 1.96 to 2.72 while digs per set rose from 15.82 to 17.14. 

Webb also spent four years coaching at the club level, working with 14’s, 15’s, 16’s, and 17’s.

Originally from Arlington, TX, Veronika graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology.

Coach Webb is passionate about the sport of volleyball and looks forward to bringing her experience to players at Vernon College.
