Game 1: NOC Tonkawa Captures Lead Early To Defeat Vernon College Chaparrals Varsity

Vernon College Chaparrals Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 14-6 loss to NOC Tonkawa on Wednesday. NOC Tonkawa scored on a double by #24 in the first inning, a double by #11 in the first inning, a double by #21 in the first inning, a double by #5 in the first inning, and a error during #35's at bat in the second inning.

Vernon College Chaparrals Varsity collected 12 hits and NOC Tonkawa had 16 in the high-scoring affair.

NOC Tonkawa got things started in the first inning when #24 doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

#10 got the start for NOC Tonkawa. He allowed four hits and three runs over three innings, striking out one.

Game 2: Vernon College Chaparrals Varsity Falls To NOC Tonkawa

Vernon College Chaparrals Varsity got things moving in the second inning.  Lee McPhaildrove in three when he homered.

NOC Tonkawa knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the second inning, when #22singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

NOC Tonkawa pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth #24singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run and #5 drew a walk, scoring one run.

#40 got the start for NOC Tonkawa. He went one and one-third innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out one.

Jairo Rodriguez led things off on the pitcher's mound for Vernon College Chaparrals Varsity. He surrendered three runs on three hits over two innings, striking out three.  Zane RobeauxTrevor GattinRyan Courtney, and Noah Anderson each entered the game as relief, throwing one and one-third innings, one inning, one inning, and two-thirds of an inning respectively.
