GM1: Betancourt's Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In Vernon College Chaps Varsity's Victory Over Carl Albert State College

Vernon College Chaps Varsity took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off double at the end of the game to topple Carl Albert State College. The game was tied at seven with Vernon College Chaps Varsity batting in the bottom of the eighth when Zak Betancourt doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Vernon College Chaps Varsity was boosted by Luke Piper who went 4-for-4 at the plate. Piper singled in the second, singled in the fourth, singled in the fifth, and singled in the seventh.

Vernon College Chaps Varsity opened up scoring in the second inning when an error scored one run for Vernon College Chaps Varsity.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Vernon College Chaps Varsity tied things up at seven. Piper drove in two when Piper singled.

Vernon College Chaps Varsity put up three runs in the fifth inning.  Vernon College Chaps Varsity big bats were led by Jhonmy MartinezCade Hamilton, and Piper, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Carl Albert State College scored three runs in the third inning. The big inning for Carl Albert State College came thanks to home runs by #17 and #10.

Colten Panaranto was on the mound for Vernon College Chaps Varsity. The righthander went six innings, allowing five runs on 12 hits, striking out five and walking zero.

#15 started the game for Carl Albert State College. The bulldog went five innings, allowing five runs on nine hits, striking out five and walking one.  #22 and #14 entered the game as relief, throwing one and one-third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Vernon College Chaps Varsity hit one home run on the day. Martinez had a four bagger in the fifth inning.

 

GM2: With Maverick On The Mound, Vernon College Chaps Varsity Shuts Out Carl Albert State College

Maverick Folmar shut down Carl Albert State College, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Vernon College Chaps Varsity to a 10-0 victory on Saturday

Vernon College Chaps Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning, when an error scored two runs for Vernon College Chaps Varsity.

Vernon College Chaps Varsity put up three runs in the third inning. The offensive firepower by Vernon College Chaps Varsity was led by Reece Burke and Marco Barrera, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

A single by #26 in the first inning was a positive for Carl Albert State College.

Folmar led things off on the pitcher's mound for Vernon College Chaps Varsity. The pitcher allowed four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out four.

#34 toed the rubber for Carl Albert State College. The bulldog allowed three hits and five runs over one and one-third innings.  #21 and #8 entered the game as relief, throwing one and two-thirds innings and one inning respectively.

Vernon College Chaps Varsity tallied nine hits on the day.  Burke and Logan Williams all managed multiple hits for Vernon College Chaps Varsity.  Williams and Burke all had two hits to lead Vernon College Chaps Varsity.
