GM1: Vernon College Chaps Varsity Jumps Out To Early Lead In Victory Over North Central Texas College

Vernon College Chaps Varsity jumped out to an early lead over North Central Texas College and took home a 12-5 victory on Wednesday.  Vernon College Chaps Varsity scored on a single by Luke Piper in the first inning, a single by Logan Williams in the first inning, and a home run by Brendon Concannon in the second inning.

Vernon College Chaps Varsity earned the victory despite allowing North Central Texas College to score three runs in the sixth inning. North Central Texas College scored its runs on a double by #12.

GM2: Vernon College Chaps Varsity Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over North Central Texas College

Vernon College Chaps Varsity nabbed the lead late in the game in a 22-21 victory over North Central Texas College on Wednesday.  Vernon College Chaps Varsity trailed 15-13 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Reece Burke homered on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs.

Despite falling down by five runs in the eighth inning, North Central Texas College tried to fight back. North Central Texas College scored four runs in the failed comeback on a walk by #33, a single by #1, a single by #8, and a single by #2.

Vernon College Chaps Varsity captured the lead in the second inning. An error scored one run for Vernon College Chaps Varsity.

Vernon College Chaps Varsity took the lead for good with four runs in the sixth inning. In the sixth Zak Betancourt grounded out, scoring one run.
