Zak Skinner (Melbourne, Australia), Jayden Hill (Frisco, TX), and Sergio Ortiz (Yabucoa, PR) were selected to represent Vernon College at the 2022 Texas-New Mexico Junior College Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game. The three returning sophomores were selected for the event after being among the top freshman in the conference last year. 

Zak Skinner was selected as a second team all-conference utility player after hitting . 417 with 16 2b, 1 3b, and 7 hr. Skinner lead the team in six offensive categories while seeing time at three defensive positions. 

Jayden Hill played in 47 games in the outfield and hit .317 with 9 2b, 1 3b, and 7 hr. Hill was at his best in conference play as he posted a .335 batting average. 

Sergio Ortiz anchored the infield defense at ss last year. Ortiz slashed .318 with 5 2b and 3 hr.
