Vernon College Rodeo had some big wins this past weekend in Alpine, Texas at the Sul Ross State University Rodeo. Cowgirl Cooper Norris of Canadian, Texas, went 2nd in the long round, 1st in the short round and 1st in the Average in breakaway. Winning the bullriding for Vernon College was Will Barrows of Foremost, Canada, going 2nd in the long round, 1st in the short round and 1st in the Average. Also, gaining points was Shaya Biever who hails from Claresholm, Canada, with 4th in the long round, 3rd in the short round, and 3rd in the Average in breakaway.
