Tori Brower wins big in the Junior American Rodeo in goat tying

VERNON, TX. - On March 5th and 6th in Fort Worth, Texas, sophomore, Tori Brower competed in the Junior American Rodeo in goat tying. She competed against almost 190 competitors all in the 19 and under age group. In the semi-finals Tori managed to get 2nd in the first and second round, which qualified he to the Jr. American finale.

The main event finale is based off of one rune alone, and she tied a 6.71 to place 2nd out of the top 15 athletes. This is a was a very prestigious event and one of the biggest paying goat tying competitions that there has ever been.

Coming off this competition, she went straight to Levelland to compete at the ENMU College rodeo. Tori was able to split 8-11 in the long round to make it back to the short go, bringing her up to 3rd in the average.

"I am very grateful for the opportunity that my coach, Marty Eakin, gave me back when i signed in 2019. Without the help from him and his wife, Kassidy, I would not be where I am today. They have really helped me push my skills to a a very high level while also helping me to believe in myself and that's what allowed me to perform at a high level"
