VERNON, TX. - The Tarleton State Univ. rodeo took place this past week in Stephenville, TX. The Chaps men and women rodeo teams showed really well with Tori Bowers winning big and Will Barrows qualifying for the Colligate National Finals Rodeo.

Tori Bowers won the top prize of All Around Cowgirl at TSU! She finished 1^st in the long, 2^nd in the short and 2^nd average in  the breakaway. She also finshed 6^th, 5^th then 4^th in average in goat tying

Blaine Carrol also competed well on the women's side finshing 6^th in the short and in average in breakaway

Cameron Shaner & Caroline Blackard finished 5^th in short & average of the team roping event.

Will Barrows had a strong showing of  2^nd in the long, 2^nd average in bull riding which helped him become a qulifier for the Colligate National Finals Rodeo.

Talyn Brown finsihed 9^th in the long breakaway and Garrett Miller finished 5^th in the long team roping
