The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Softball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 16-22.

Stonie Carrillo of Vernon College named the NTJCAC Softball Co-Position Players of the Week.

Carrillo, a sophomore second baseman from Lubbock, TX, had an amazing .875 batting average for the week with 7 runs scored. She had a pair of doubles and a triple with 3 RBIs, 2 walks and 2 stolen bases.

Kaila Eastbburn of Vernon College is the NTJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman from Ontario, CA picked up a win by pitching 6 innings without allowing an earned run and only giving up 1 hit. She recorded 13 strikeouts and only 2 walks.
