VERNON, TX. - After starting the season off 6-0, the VC Softball team moves up 3 spots in the NJCAA National Rankings, coming in at No. 17.
VC, who has been ranked or receiving votes the past 3, earned a total of 28 points in the NJCAA National poll. The Chaps are one of two Region 5 schools in the top 20 and is ranked highest among those teams. Also, one the 5 Texas NJCAA D1 schools in the top 20
The Chaps are back in action this thursday,as they travel to Weatherford, Tx. They take on Weatherford CC Thursady at 1 p.m.. On Saturday, the Chaps travel to Temple for a 12 p.m. matchup.
