GM1 Nunez's Walk-Off Gives Vernon College Chaparral Victory Over Hill College

Vernon College Chaparral took Wednesday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 9-7 walk-off victory over Hill College. The game was tied at seven with Vernon College Chaparral batting in the bottom of the seventh when Camile Nunez homered on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.

Bats blistered as Vernon College Chaparral collected ten hits and Hill College tallied seven in the high-scoring game.

Vernon College Chaparral opened up an early lead in the second inning when Kelsye Loughman singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Hill College knotted the game up at seven in the top of the sixth inning, when Yasmine Rivera drew a walk, scoring one run.

Vernon College Chaparral put up five runs in the second inning.  Vernon College Chaparralbatters contributing to the big inning included Damiana Longo, Loughman, and Kaila Eastburn, all driving in runs in the frame.

Laynie Brown earned the win for Vernon College Chaparral. The pitcher went seven innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking one.

Rivera was in the pitcher's circle for Hill College. The bulldog allowed eight hits and six runs over three innings, striking out three and walking zero.  A Little threw three and a third innings in relief.

Vernon College Chaparral smacked two home run on the day. Nunez put one out in the third and seventh innings.

Vernon College Chaparral scattered ten hits in the game.  Nunez, Longo, and Eastburn all managed multiple hits for Vernon College Chaparral.  Nunez went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Vernon College Chaparral in hits.

Hill College racked up seven hits on the day.  Montes and S Melson all collected multiple hits for Hill College.

 

GM2: Vernon College Chaparral Takes The Game Over Hill College In A Blow-Out Victory, 13-1

Vernon College Chaparral had no trouble on offense today, winning big over Hill College 13-1

In the first inning, Vernon College Chaparral got their offense started.  America Rubio drove in two when Rubio homered.

Vernon College Chaparral tallied five runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to home runs by Rubio, Kaila EastburnKiana Gibson, and Lexi Mills.

Laynie Bastow was the winning pitcher for Vernon College Chaparral. The righthander allowed three hits and one run over five innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Vernon College Chaparral hit six home runs on the day. Rubio had a four bagger in the first and fourth innings. Mills had a homer in the fourth inning. Eastburn went deep in the first and fourth innings. Gibson had a long ball in the fourth inning.

Vernon College Chaparral tallied 11 hits.  Eastburn, Rubio, Gibson, and Mills each racked up multiple hits for Vernon College Chaparral.  Mills, Gibson, Rubio, and Eastburn each collected two hits to lead Vernon College Chaparral.  Vernon College Chaparral was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Mills had the most chances in the field with nine.

Ratcliffe led Hill College with two hits in two at bats.

 

GM3: Four RBI Day For America Rubio Seals The Deal In Vernon College Chaparral's Victory Over Hill College

Four runs batted in from America Rubio helped lead Vernon College Chaparral past Hill College 13-1 on Saturday.  Rubio drove in runs on a single in the second and a home run in the third.

Vernon College Chaparral secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the second inning. Callie Yellin, Rubio, Camile NunezKiana Gibson, and Logan Menzies each had RBIs in the big inning.

Kaila Eastburn earned the victory in the circle for Vernon College Chaparral. Eastburnsurrendered one run on four hits over five innings, striking out seven.

Yasmine Rivera was in the pitcher's circle for Hill College. Rivera went five innings, allowing 13 runs on 15 hits and striking out one.

Vernon College Chaparral launched three home runs on the day. Rubio put one out in the third inning. Menzies went yard in the second inning. Gibson had a four bagger in the third inning.

Vernon College Chaparral collected 15 hits.  Ashton Zielenski, Eastburn, Rubio, Yellin, and Kaylyn Aguirre all had multiple hits for Vernon College Chaparral.  Zielenski led Vernon College Chaparral with three hits in three at bats.
