VERNON, TX. - More history was made on Wednsday night as the VC volleyball team won its first road match in the coach Blakley era in 5 sets at Semniole State.

The Chaps (2-6, 0-0 Region 5) overwhelmed Seminole St with a strong defensive effort. It was the first road win of the season and a gritty performance by the Chaps.

They will be in action on Monday, February 3rd to open Region play at Home vs. Hill college. It will be the start to 10 game Region 5 conference slate to determine seeding for the region tournament.
