VERNON, TX - Volleyball opened its home conference slate against NCTC last night. They took the early 1-0 match lead and continued to battle each set as both teams competed at a high level in their second conference matches.

The match went all five sets with Vernon falling 3-2 to NCTC with a final set score of 15-11. The Chaps look to get back in the win column Thursday at The King Center here in Vernon, TX in another conference match-up against Ranger College.
