Coach Blakley hires new assistant & alumni, Brook Conley for 2021-2022 season

VERNON, TX. - Coach Blakley has officially hired alumni Brook Conley of Carmine, TX. for the 2021-2022 season. Brook is a alumnus of the Vernon College Volleyball program.

Originally from Carmine, TX, Brook Conley graduated from Round Top Carmine High School. While in high school, she was on two state championship teams and one state runner-up team. 

After high school, Conley played two seasons at Vernon College. In her freshmen year, she finished 11th in the nation for total assists and 12th in the nation for assists per set. She was also named the Conference Newcomer of the Year.

She finished her college career at Cameron University in Lawton, OK where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise Science. While at Cameron she was the Student Athlete Advisory Committee President and CU's nomination for NCAA Woman of the Year. 

Since concluding her playing career, she has spent time officiating during the high school and club volleyball seasons. This will be Conley's first season as an assistant coach. She is excited to start her college coaching career at Vernon College.
